It's crazy, I think she has softened over time. It's like the paint is garlic and she's a vampire. With her frame, I just feel like her back to the basket game should be so much better. Rolling Eyes

Yeah it's gotten really bad. I raised the question the other day of how many rotation centers are softer than she is. Can't catch the ball, can't finish through contact...

I remember watching her in college back in 2011, and, if I recall, she had a decent low post game.

The Lynx should go after Sims with her 3 fouls.

Why do the Lynx try to make these fancy passes? Keep it simple. Too many turnovers for no good reason.

When Candace misses out on a triple double tonight, she'll know who to blame. Laughing

Agler's done a pretty good job keeping a fresh body on Moore.

Now go after Nneka and her 3 fouls.

Syl loses the mask. It's fine to play in, but too difficult to whine to the refs through.

If only Whalen hadn't gotten injured. MN would be head and shoulders above LA.

The Lynx are perfectly capable of playing like trash with Whalen too.

Syl should know by now that she isn't a superstar and isn't going to get those calls.

What a garbage half from us. Indy, Chicago, or Washington is going to end up getting us and we will end up #2 at this rate.

They've had a few games this season at full strength where they didn't look like the #1 team.

Princess is the darling of the league. Wont be calling them on her when the game is on ESPN let alone against the Lynx.

They still would be more than 1.5 games ahead of LA, wouldn't have lost to Indiana, Seattle, and possibly LA at home.

The Sparks have beaten Minny with Whalen at the helm. They have not been head & shoulders above LA for quite some time.

Because Whalen has been injured. lynx were on pace for a record breaking regular season record before she got hurt.

That reminds me: is Chiney Ogwumike ever going to play again?

x_______

Whalen has looked pretty slow this season and has had difficulty guarding Gray. When Parker is locked in and focused, she and Nneka are as good a post duo the league has seen.

You would think that the obviousness of the mask being jarred by defenders would get her those calls when she has been smacked in it...

Otherwise it is just forcing her to stop and adjust it during play. At that point all you can do is get rid of it and let yourself be smacked in the face.

She played last season so I would lean more towards yes than no.

Clarendon is the Sparks' real MVP. Wink

I might give up on the Lynx and go back to only being a disgruntled Dream fan.

I was hoping the Lynx wouldn't crap their pants and play like a bunch of scared 2-year old boys who are afraid of monsters and don't know how to play basketball yet again when they see the Sparks, but I guess that's yet the case again. Smile

Miller recently signed her to a multi-year deal, so you would have to think so. I'm not a big fan as Chiney as an analyst just yet. Good enthusiasm, but not much substance.
