Final road game of the regular season. Our road win/loss ledger stands at 9 wins vs 7 losses. We need to keep the pressure on Los Lynx by toppling Diana, Britt & Co. Let's see if Nneka and Ace can drive Brittney crazy again and get her in early foul trouble.

PHX doens't stand a chance. They over achieved earlier in the season (but mostly had a good record due to other teams being horrible more than them being good). PHX is kinda shitty, DT is completely warn out. Little does little. Robinson hasn't produced much at all. Currie was a nice addition. But aside DT, Griner, Currie and occasionally, Mitchell, the Mercury roster is W E A K.

I predict a Sparks 89 - Mercury 65 final score.

DT seems to light up LA at least once or twice a year , she has yet to really go off this year against the sparks. Hopefully she doesn't tonight either

Good one shades. I only root for the Mercury when I have bought one of their players on FD. So far every time I did (whether one of the nice ones like FLB, or one evil ones like DT, or Mo) they always play like shit. I never play them any more. I actually like the Sparks because they let us beat them once or twice every year.

It's an ESPN game. Couldn't they at least have said she had a hangnail or something that sounds remotely like they are not trying to keep DT from getting a technical tonight and be out against Seattle Sunday?

She already gets so much rest during games that I'm surprised she needs to take the night off.

Rest? Mercury are barely hanging on to that #6 seed. Not a good game to opt to rest for.

Great start by LA. I really hope Alana gets that DPOY award in her last season. I know Big Syl has been an enforcer inside, but the way Alana covers the floor on defense has to be top 5 in league history.
Spoon, Debbie Black, Swoopes are the only guards I can think of that are at her level or above. I'm gonna miss her next season.

DT is half the player she used to be. She looks warn out and exhausted this season. She needs to just retire once the season is over. Same goes for Whalen. Both have used up their wnba life spans. Time to let the new kids shine.

Mercury apparently see the same thing I do: they need to beat Seattle on Sunday. If they concede the LA game and beat the Storm, Sun and Dream they can still get 6th. Or, if they lose to the Sun they'll still have 6th if Dallas and Seattle lose a game.

Or heck, maybe Taurasi had a meltdown an hour ago. Who the heck knows?

Got to stop turning the ball over if they want to beat LA.

Is there a softer rotation big in the WNBA than Lavender? Cayla George maybe?

Or maybe Diana should just play in the wnba.
