Hopefully the Sparks can bounce back with a vengeance. Hopefully they can get Tiffany Jackson Jones going. I'll play her over Gruda.

They can use them both. Tiffany is ferocious on rebounds, and they really need to get both going in case they are needed for playoff play. Both Ace and Nneka are good at toughing it out through knicks and small injuries, but it always good to have a ready bench. Players settling for jump shots is a clear symptom of fatigue. We won't have Essence or Riquna until we are back in LA so we need all hands on deck.

In reality, expect to see our three caped crusaders play into 30+ minutes. If Odyssey is being effective with her defense and slashing offensive attacks she can really impact the game. I would love to see her being really judicious with her shot & pass selection as she has a tendency to get sloppy now & then. Janel needs to rediscover her instant offense off the bench. Will Kid Syd pull an encore of her first performance against the Mystics? Razz

I think EDD is still recovering from the hand surgery.

More important: it looks like there is only a 5% chance of precipitation tonight, so the game may not be rained out.

i realize that a guard has to shoot the 3 to keep the defense honest, but Sims will often throw up a three when it isn't really necessary. At this point in time every three she shoots feels like it will have the same success rate of a half court hail Mary. Most of her shots aren't even close. Her 3pt % is 1.54. That is 6 for 39 and i remember at least two out of those six being wild of the backboard shots. She attempted 3 against the liberty when there were much better options available. Her aggressiveness is a plus but she needs to be smarter in respect to her shot selections.

Most of the time after I have made negative statements about players they make my posts look bad the very next game. So this should be a golden opportunity for Sims to make me look bad in her next few games by knocking down some three's.

Unless your name is Danielle Robinson.

She probably follows her center's lead.

You shouldn't scare people like this. That's how scathing rumors start. 6/39 is actually 15.4%

Would you be happier if Wiese was ahead of Sims in the depth chart?

It looks like Carson made the trip out. Don't see Williams in any of their pics on the WNBA Snapchat

We're gonna have to save SAN's butt at least for another day.

Need to start pushing the pace and be more aggressive offensively.

Or just give it to Emma, stand still and watch.

Actually looks like a good sized crowd in DC. Wonder how much they'll fudge the attendance number?

Washington should be thankful to only be down 4. They didn't look that good in the first quarter. Seems like LA also had a relapse to their New York game. Started out strong, then went cold.

A lineup without either Toliver or Meeseman seems like a disaster waiting to happen

We need shooters on the floor, Mike. How else are we going to score?

Well Mike is right. If the fouls that LA commits are called the score might be different. I've seen 3 fouls on LA that weren't called. LA player pushed a Wash player, LA traveled and 1 other which was not called.

Yea the officiating isn't helping. But I'm focused on the things that we can change.
