I need some expert advice.

Have a mid '80's vintage Thorens TD318 turntable sitting on my shelf that probably hasn't been used in at least ten years. Got a new phono pre amp (since phono stages are never built into receivers these days), and ordered a new drive belt.

But now I need some good advice on a suitable new cartridge. It currently has an old Sonus Gold-Blue that I doubt is very functional at it's advanced age. Sonus is long since out of business as are most other cartridge manufacturers. So I'm looking for some dealer of cartridges that actually knows what they're talking about that can suggest some replacements.

Any suggestions?
