NO question in my mind that at this point Chris Paul has exceeded everyone else, especially with no help on that team. Hey, don't overlook my boy Charlie V. playing really well for Toronto!

Chris Paul. Thank goodness he's outplaying Deron Williams. I can't stand that punk. Rolling Eyes

I'd like to hear what a "punk" Deron is. Personally, I think Deron deserves it. Biased or not, thats my vote. But I still dont understand the "punk" comment. Deron is one of the nicest players you can meet.

That's why I asked why too. I didn't understand it. I've only heard good things about him

I voted for Chris Paul, but I think Deron Williams is right there with him.
I don't know a thing about him, so I have no idea about the punk comment.

I just think Paul has less to work with. Williams at least has Okur. Paul has.....well, nothing.

I didn't mean that at all. Sorry if it came across that way. I was just curious why you didn't like him. I know nothing about him. Smile

It's cool. My reason for not liking him is strictly on-the-court-related. He seems like a responsible young man/father off-the-court.

That's not being a homer. That's realistic. He's put up 20 in 4 out of the last 5 games, he's the team's best shooter and their hardest worker. I spoke to Steph after last night's game and he's giddy over this kid. He said once they start running plays for Channing, 20 for him should be a regular occurence and 10 assists for Steph is a given. Now that Larry's come to his senses and will start him and Curry together once Curry gets back, Frye will make a case for ROY in his sleep. Look for him and Paul to do the Co thing. The only problem Channing might face is that without that theif Jerome James, he's the team's best off the ball shot blocker which will get him into foul trouble like it did Ewing his first couple of years. The Knicks need real post defenders like an Oakley to take the pressure off of Frye because he gambles too much.

You're almost as bad as Sue Bird, BCBG Wink

Well I'm picking Paul, who also recently got Kevin Garnett's seal of approval... Arrow

Quote:
Garnett said he was impressed by Paul and called him a "gorilla," because "he has that team right now on his back."

"He has a lot of natural ability," Garnett said. "He knows how to get to the rack. He seems to have a lot of confidence in himself. I like that. I like the fact that he plays with that emotion."

And Paul is averaging almost as many rebounds as Frye, 5.5 compared to 6.1... Razz

Again, am I not allowed to diss players I don't like? Question

Okay, so maybe "punk" was too harsh.

There's a cozy place in Tar Hole hell waiting for ol' Roy, along with Scott, Shammond, Jawad, Marvin, and any other Tar Hole named "Williams". Twisted Evil

I'm going to keep an eye on Channing tonight against the Pistons. Should be an interesting game. Looks like the Pistons haven't lost a step with Larry's departure while the Knicks aren't exacly rocking the Garden. We shall see...

Curry and James are listed as probable for tonight. Don't expect Curry to see major minutes for a while. Right now he'd have trouble chasing Margo. Rolling Eyes
