With Jonquel Jones slowly emerging as the go to player, give your best trade scenario for Chiney Ogwumike.

Mine:

Connecticut receives:
Jantel Lavender, Sydney Wiese, and 2018 2nd round pick

Los Angeles receive:
Chiney Ogwumike

This was the best trade in my opinion , only sucks that i doubt Angel would accept this . For some reason Uncasville is not that appealing to a player .

Why would atlanta trade McCoughtry(top 6 player in wnba) for a player who's had multiple major injuries, and has missed two full seasons ? ....Hayes for Ogwumike would be more appropriate due to the emergence of Sykes.A starting lineup with Sykes/Hayes at sg/sf would make atlanta below average on defense. Both players are too small to guard the SF position.

Even when healthy, Chiney Ogwumike < Angel McCoughtry

When Angel was the same age Chiney is now, she had been All WNBA twice and carried the underpowered Dream to the finals in back-to-back seasons. There's really no comparison between the two.

Bonner's agent (same as Dupree's) appears to have been ordered to work it out so they can play on the same team, probably IND, since they could use a good use a good SF.

Quote:
Dupree isn't playing overseas this winter so she can spend time with Bonner and her daughters. She isn't sure what's going to happen next year when Bonner goes back to Phoenix. The two were teammates in Phoenix before Dupree was traded to Indiana in the offseason.

"I don't know what's going to happen," Dupree said. "We have the same agent so he has his work cut out for him to figure out next summer. It's something we talk about occasionally. At some point we'll have to figure it out."

Would indiana trade their lotto pick for Bonner?I wouldn't it's gonna take Bonner a year or so to get back to herself after having twins.

Good call , never considered that . Bonner For Indy 2018 1st rounder could help phx alot . Possibly 2 first round picks . Indiana needs more than just bonner to save there franchise. They have enough old vets who probably have less than 5-7 years to play in there career.

No to trading Ogwumike. When she returns next season, she brings a really good team now, to the next level next season.

And god no to Jantel Lavender. You can keep her.

... and destroy the great chemistry the Sun have? I like Angel's game but um, no. Plus, we already have an ice cream shop at Mohegan Sun. Don't need another.

Maybe if IND gets PHX 2nd rounder out of the deal.

Achonwa + 2nd round pick might be a fair possibility.

Chiney and Jonquel can work perfectly together as a starting front court.

As surprisingly good as the Sun have been this year, with Chiney back next year, they are in the finals as long as they all stay healthy.

Jasmine Thomas/Rachel Banham
Courtney Williams/Alex Bentley
Alyssa Thomas/Shekinna Stricklen
Chiney Ogwumike/Morgan Tuck
Jonquel Jones/Brionna Jones

Plus 2 of Kizer/Pedersen/Adams/or draft picks.

Nothing wrong with having several go to players.

I think Bonner ends up in Indiana next season. Bonner for the Fever's first round pick?

This is a lot expecting to work/play on the same team as your partner, but I can understand why they would want to be on the same team.

On the topic at hand, maybe Dallas could trade Davis and there 1st round pick for Ogwumike. She would be good insurance in case Liz skips the season again, and I think it would be a good idea for the Wings to bring Kelly back.

Teams aren't allowed to do business with companies owned by players

Your reaching quite far there my friend. Never going to happen. 1st round pick will stay in Dallas.
