Time to put Dallas away and take the season series decisively. I like how Odyssey is coming into her own, but she has a tendency at times to race ahead of her teammates on fast breaks and get trapped amongst the defensive 'trees.' Sometimes you have to hold up and allow friendly rebounders to get into position before you shoot.
Riquna appears to be taking better advantage of the opportunities her teammates are affording her even if those opportunities are not translating into points as often as I would prefer as of yet. She has had so many shots go partway down the basket only to spin back out.
Jantel's effectiveness grows with increased minutes, and Brian will have a delicate balancing act deciding between her, Ace, Nneka, Tiffany, and newly arrived Sandrine.
Ace is reasserting herself more as a team leader the closer we draw to the playoffs. She and Neka are still gold chemistry-wise, but she seems to be really establishing a sweet rapport with newcomers Odyseey and Riquna as well.
Syd the Kid is being relegated more & more to mop-up duty, and she will need to do more than just deliver downtown bombs to stay on the court more often. Everyone is aware of her now since her early season explosion against the Mystics, and, consequently, she does not get much breathing space when she sets up beyond the arc.
Chelsea continues to fine tune her super heroine's cape as the post-season draws near. She has come into her own as a WNBA PG so quickly and, together with Ace, are good for offering up quite a few sizzling passes each game.
Nneka continues to be Nneka and, in the same tradition as retired Catch, brings relentless energy every single play.
Will they all mesh together well enough to repeat as champions this year?

Looks like Kaela Davis is the back up for Skylar with Chong out.

Keep it up wings. I picked LA to win this game but I'd love to be proved wrong.

Good hustle by Gray to block Sims after the turnover.

Parker's got no energy out there, especially for defense.

Maybe Hayes. She and Karima are floor cleaners

Parker gets her triple-double and then decides to take it easy in this game. Totally not an MVP-type.

Sparks need to mount one of their patented super defensive efforts in the 2bd half to pull this one out.

Carson is out, too. Very thin now at guard now. Thank goodness they have Gruda and Diarra!!
