This to me is the biggest game of the season. If we're going to get a 3 or 4 seed we need to continue trending favorably, especially against the teams with inferior records.

The Lynx have won more WNBA titles with Amber Harris than they have with Sylvia Fowles.

The fact this is true is what makes this hilarious well said Smile

This reminds me of that discussion recently where it was claimed McCarville had a better career than Sancho Lyttle because of playing on championship team(s?). I'm waiting to hear how Amber Harris has had a better career than Fowles. Logic seems about the same.

Announcer said Sky only have 8 players today. Seems like Boyette is out, too. Who else?

The 3 ball is starting to come together now. Among other things, Bec is now at .382 from 3. Good to see after her rough start. Nice to get another win on a night where Tina was contained.

Stokes was an enormous presence not only rebounding but defensively as well. Lindsay Allen was terrific in the first half too. And after Quigley's huge start, Piph and Sugar did a great job denying her the ball and closing out. And it was our best game offensively out of the two guard spot all year.

Not a perfect win by any means but NY has won lots of games imperfectly the last two years. It counts the same in the standings.

Vaughn was lifeless too. She had a terrible sequence in the third quarter where she shot an air ball from a few feet then let Slooty blow by her for a layup on the other end. She got pulled quick. Luckily Stokes' defense and mobility seem to be at her norm now.

Parker has an injured ankle which she sprained last game.
Imani's ankle was still not ready for prime time.
Hampton had knee soreness during the last game and was not well enough to play today.
Epps just sucks.

Not a surprising result here.

Maybe, but Charles shot 6-21 28.6%. Tina was so bad, she tossed up at least two low post airballs. She also had three shots blocked. Charles was -13 for the game. Hard to see how she could've been worse with Boyette or Parker guarding her.

Hooray for the Liberty.

I actually this this Chicago team is close to being really good. I'm not really sure why there record isn't better they have some good talent.

I really like Slot and Quigley as the back-court and I think Breland and Dolson up front isn't flashy but it is still pretty good.

Boyette was really coming on last year, I still think there has to be some line ups where Dolson and Boyette can play together, but if not the Sky need to figure out how to get the best out of Imani off the bench.

I think Cappies is a question mark? I'm no sure she fits a a 6th man but that might be the role the Sky need her to play.

I might consider moving Young to to bench as well as a defensive specialist. Maybe having Young, Boyette and Pondexer platoon in as the 2nd unit with Cappie as the featured scorer and Boyette and Young coming in to shut down the other teams offense.

I'd like to see Copper getting some more minutes. Maybe even start considering she need more minutes to get her game on and it might be worth the risk for a Sky team that might not be making the playoffs no matter who plays.

And I think Parker is worth that 3rd year, posts always seem to take three years to hit their stride

Next year with the return of Faulkner and a high draft pick they should be even better.

If they can't figure out what to do with Pondexter, Boyette and Young I would think all three of these players would have some trade value and CHicago might need to look at there options and get pieces that fit better if they can't get these payer to be more effective for their team.

Libs are up to .332 in 3 point percentage, which ranks 6th in the league. Looks like Piph and Sugar are each finding their stroke which is encouraging.

Prince (19:48 ) and Rodgers (20:12) split the SG minutes fairly evenly yesterday. I wonder if that's the plan for the rest of the season. Both players are much better when they start, so this at least gets Sugar something closer to normal minutes.

Interesting that everyone was pretty much locked into one position yesterday. Along with Prince/Rodgers, Hartley/L. Allen totaled exactly 40 minutes, as did Vaughn/Stokes. Charles/Raincock-Ekunwe came in at 39:48, while Zellous/R. Allen logged 40:12. I guess New York went small briefly, probably for defense at the end of a quarter. It looks like experimentation with people playing multiple positions is over.
