I'm more sure that Detrimental Sports will block this game broadcast from League Pass in the DC area than I am that EDD will score in double digits.

This game will have significant impact on the standings, so I'll be rooting hard for the Styx. It would be nice if others in the Metro area could watch it.

The Mystics play host to Connecticut on Friday night with a lot on the line. The teams are tied for third place in the overall standings with 13-9 records.

Friday's winner also clinches the season series and earns an all-important tiebreaker. A higher seed not only earns a team a home playoff game, it can also get them a bye and the rest that comes with it.

Kinda odd with Cloud and Hill both out, they're down to the proud, the few in terms of guards. I predict we will be seeing a bunch of the the three big lineup.

The Big Three against the quick CON. Mystics better hit their shots.

Because she's a guard. Very Happy

Delayed start to the game because of a leaky roof. No one warming up yet, and they've brought the jumbotron down from the ceiling.

Well, this game won't be starting anytime soon. The jumbotron is sitting on the middle of the court.

But we're witnessing some serious old school dancing. I think everyone's just happy to be out of the rain.

First time I've ever experienced a rain delay at a WNBA game.

This is so crazy! I don't recall ever witnessing anything like this in the history of the league. Am I wrong?

Whelp, I suppose they'll tip off at 8. The announcers are doing a decent job filling the air, but I hope NBATV doesn't kick us off at 9 for a slam dunk contest from 1992.

Lmao This game delay is actually really interesting and hilarious. It's a shame cause I was really looking forward to this matchup. Hopefully the game still happens.

Smart move to postpone. Can't screw around with this hazard.

Whelp. This kinda sucks. I hope the W still keeps this video up. It's kinda interesting just to reference to. Sucks for the fans but at least they aren't risking player safety.

No rain around the Verizon center right now, so everyone can head home safely.
This will give Hightower more time to adjust to the team.

Will they play tomorrow followed by an early back-to-back?

No well, the announcers said the arena is booked tomorrow which is actually supposed to be a travel day for WAS to get to ATL for their game on Sunday. We shall see!
