The season series is knotted at a game apiece. Time to get serious about post-season seedings here.

The Storm has defeated the Sparks once.
Can they do it again?

Just not this year.

Essence Carson is out for tonight's game due to a right elbow strain. Sims will start.

Sims has been terrible. Why is he leaving her out there?

this Storm bench can be pretty useless at times.

The storm would be better off missing the playoffs. They definitely could use a lottery pick.

If they bring back Boucek again the results won't be any better

Yup. Boucek sucks. How in the actual fuck does Alysha Clark get shots in tight situations and Stewart is just standing?!!
And someone please tell me how Ogwumike is allowed to play like a bull in a China shop?

If you watched the video of the sisters Nneka said she patterns herself after Draymon Green who is the worst bully on the floor.

Okay...a lottery pick, and hire Carol Ross as head coach.
Ross has the 4th highest winning percentage of all time(58-22/.644 win%)

It is not just the coach. Seattle's GM has been truly horrendous. Interesting that high draft pick, KML never got off bench, and season's big trade acquisition Swords joined her. Remember they let Krystal Thomas go, but, hey, the bench produced 2 points total. Consider this: only two teams have made zero roster moves since the start of season; first place Minny, and the genius run Seattle Storm. Jenny Boo and company have stood pat with garbage, but, should they lose this Friday to Dallas, they can start doing the one (and only) thing they are good at; tanking for the most lottery balls possible.

Perhaps it has something to do with July 31sts trade deadline? Also I believe he knew that Chelsea was going to be sort of gassed for this game and he hoped he would get at least a non horrible game out of Sims. That might have happened but she just played way out of control tonight. Gray also had a bad shooting night but you could see the difference in the shots she took ( generally withing the offense ) and Sims's who was really forcing things. This is the first game i payed attention to her throughout the game and it seems she isn't really a good defensive player either. I think it's because players are generally taller than her so she has to play them tight and that makes it easy for them to drive around her. She is someone who's skill level takes a big hit coming from college level competition to the WNBA. Needs to really make a big adjustment in her game.

Seems more & more likely that the Storm will miss the play-offs and be back in the lottery. I doubt Boucek returns next season.

Loyd and Bird: 66 minutes, 7-22 from the field, 4-6 from the line, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 11 turnovers.
And it's not like we're talking about a lame starting backcourt -- No. 1 overall pick and No. 3 (I think -- too lazy to check).
