For 72 years they were in the Missouri Valley Conference.This year they joined the AAC. Means different things for different sports, but the women's basketball coach couldn't have been too happy about it. Chance of winning the conference now at zero.

the only reason why the Shockers are in the AAC is because of there men's program.

the AAC has potential, but with UCONN in there it makes the conference look like a joke

i like Houston's team this year though, they gave Texas A&M a fight to the end but came up short
