This was the player we saw a lot in college. Not the player we often saw last season. Hard to figure out.

Maybe it was Pokey? I always think Pokey is mediocre at best, but hey, some players definitely improved under her. Maybe she can get Boyette for cheap from Chicago. Indiana could use last year's version of her. Idea

Lynx fans seem to think she was terrible with Fowles, but she has done well with Sloot, Quig, Faulkner, Breland and Boyette.

this team was so much fun and better to watch without Prince and Vaughn. its the truth.

Liambeer's stubbornness makes me sick to my stomach watching this team now

Copper showing why I thought she would become a real player in the league. It's just taken her awhile.

They seem to be.
Sky now on a 3 game winning streak Shocked
(which will be the longest active streak in the league if Lynx beat Merc tonight)

I wish I would have played Charles tonight instead of Delle Donne:
23 pts, 19 reb, and 1 measly assist

Maybe we should tank. And while we're at it, trade Stokes & our second rounder(#16) to Indiana for the #3 pick.

Thinking maybe its time to shake some things up in the new york backcourt? Prince for Sims & 1st Rounder? Or Prince For Plum? Sugar For Plum ? One of them has to go imo

I got lucky with Charles and Sloot/Michell did ok. Counting on Fowles and Brunson later on.

Prince and Vaughn need to go and so does Cappie. Need a 3 or 4 team trade. Quick - get J-Spoon on it.

Let's see

Vaughn to Seattle, Swords and Cappie to Dallas, Christmas to the Sky, Prince to Russia. Vadeeva to NY. NY's FRP to Seattle. I think it works.

If the Mercury lose tonight, the Sky are officially the hottest team in the league.

There's a fantastic 'Fairy' headline there somewhere if Sugar got traded for Plum. Smile

Same stuff we've seen. Tina trying to carry the entire team. A few bright spots from individuals otherwise but that's just it. Same old individualistic play. More missed FTs from good FT shooters. I was using tonight as a gauge and what I see that's most disconcerting is the lack of mental toughness. Only Z and Tina really have it. And we saw no indicator of coordinated team play as we saw a team with inferior talent beat us by doing just that. Despite being -18 in FTA.

Women's basketball can feature odd peaks and valleys but not seeing anything different in terms of intangibles leads me to believe the season is over as far as any real playoff aspirations go.

And it looks like we've gotten the answer as to how the Piph/Sugar backcourt is going to work out.

What happened to the tank? Damn three game winning streak! The Sky need to stop drinking that bottled water and go back to drinking that Lake Michigan tap water. They need to find that G.I. Joe tank commander so they can get back on track.
