Coach Stocks is new to Chicago. If I would invite her out dancing maybe that would motivate and inspire her to be a better coach and win just a few games without the team looking like they should be performing on the Comedy Network.
I will take her out to the club and get her happy and loose.
Hey DJ, play this song for me.

Girl, you looks good, won't you back that thang up
You'se a big fine woman, won't you back that thang up
Call me Big Daddy when you back that thang up
Girl, who is you playin wit? Back that thang up.

Boyette looking as bad as I expected her to be last year. Last year she totally surprised me. So far this year, she's looked pretty bad again. They need to find out what she was eating last year and feed her up.

I think Boyette is one of those players that benefits from a better coach. I hope she finds a home in the league next season.

Sky with 10 offensive boards! Fever with 7 boards TOTAL. But Chicago cannot shoot (10-29) so Indiana leads 29-20.

I don't think she is in danger of getting cut.

This is what I see a lot from Boyette. She gets rebounds. Here is an offensive rebound that she puts back up.

The scout on Boyette must be to double or triple her because she won't pass out of it. So she ends up taking an often off-balance fall-away shot. She's poor at compensating for the off-balance, so it's usually a brick of a shot.

See how she's falling back? I think she needs to power it to the hole come what may. She probably doesn't like contact, but she's gotta change that mentality..... or make an effort to pass it out.

Should have phrased it as I hope she finds a better home in the league next season

Boyette is tall, but not very strong. She can't power up like that.

Both these teams are terrible. Just seems to be lacking any real "star" or leader to guide them.

Kinda what I was thinking but more like mediocre. I don't think I would call either terrible (like SAS) but the coaching is questionable and they are, as you say, lacking in superstar leaders. Both have decent role players but missing that #1 type player(s).

I find myself always rooting for Breland. Coming back from horrific cancer like that and struggling to breathe, she has really earned respect.

Mitchell with the franchise record for consecutive free throws.

Strength can be developed, unlike 'tall" and probably some other basketball qualities. It might be the easiest thing to develop. Just go to the weight room.

Well, the post players were actually pretty good in this game for CHI even without Dolson. Guards didn't show up. Sloot did have a pretty good line with 5 pts, 7 reb, 8 ast

Yeah. Big disappointment for my fantasy team. I reached because I thought she would break out more, but alas I was wrong Laughing

lol the Sky outrebounded the Fever by 23 and still lost. That's impressive.

Her line in this one is pretty good. But I just hate it when bigs can't make those bunny put backs. If you're 50% from 2' it just isn't very appealing. But she has upside and she has rare height, so we will see how it progresses. Maybe the proverbial year three for posts will see the dawning of a new Boyette Very Happy

Do you get to count it as tanking, if your team is just sorry?

They're not tanking, no, but it's more fun to root for.

Copper and Hampton played 8 and 7 minutes and were the only two Sky with a positive +/- - both at +11.
