Does anyone else provide a tougher challenge for Alana than Tiffany "Speedy Gonzales" Hayes? We often have seen athletes with great speed or great quickness, but it is rare to see athletes that have both qualities in spades as Tiff seems to. Tiffany and her pesky Dream teammates have been perennial pests for the Sparks ever since the Dream's first season in the league, who I believe have beaten the ladies from LaLa at least once per season since then. The Sparks better have their track shoes on tonight because the Atlanta Ladies love to fly coast to coast.

We are getting closer to that July 6 showdown with Los Lynx, and we can still use better integration with newcomers Odyssey and Riquna. I was surprised to see how high Riquna can fly off the court as she seriously displayed her tremendous hops on a most impressive rebby last game. I am wondering now if she can actually dunk the rock at 5-feet, 7-inches!?! Nneka was voted the league's most athletic player by the WNBA coaches, but Riquna and Tiffany have got to be in that discussion too,

Nothing I've heard. Something may be said on Twitter as we come closer to game time. (Who ever thought we would have to depend on Twitter for news? Such is life in this WNBA news-deprived world!)

Have the Sparks ever lost to a McCoughtry-less Dream team?

Edit: My bad. I meant "lost to".

They swept the season series in 2008, when Angel was busy preparing for her senior year at Louisville.

It's time for the Sparks to balance the win-loss ledger against the Dream this season . . . in Atlanta. We have playoff implications to think of. Brian is gonna be all over his Ladies about winning each seasonal series with every team.

I don't really care to remember who beats the Sparks, just that they get beat by as many teams as possible.

Of course the official farthest from the action in the worst position calls this foul which turns out WAS NOT A FOUL! As if it wasn't bad enough to have Eric Brewton, this other ref is actually worse than him. She's the one who called that horrid clear path foul. Should I drive down to McCamish and relieve her?

I was afraid this was going to be a "Empire Strikes Back" sort of night. Morris for Kiesel not looking so great. Kiesel did nothing, Morris does the wrong things.....

They should have reviewed the play where the ref landed on his tail to see if it was a hostile act. Happened soon after Nneka got her T. Razz

I saw Evil Bill walking the concourse before the game looking for food.

Jennifer Lacy was also in attendance.

Why would he be there? Trying to get his mudhooks on McCoughtry?
