I think Dolson goes off on her former team.

Most interesting part of this game will be the handshake line. I figure Dolson and Copper will be getting a warm embrace from their ex teammates. The questions is whether EDD gets the warm embrace or an icy handshake?

How about a hot slap in the face. Then show her a small Hot Wheels Volkswagen in your hand and say punch buggy no punch back! Laughing

Wouldn't they be all soceresses? I would not mind if the Sky were to smite the Mystics.

I expect some icy reactions from Young and probably Cappie but that's it

Cappie always wants to be the best player on the team. We've seen what happens when she is the best player - the team loses.

I hope the Styx smear the floor with her.

Yes, us Liberty fans are aware of this.

I figured you would be. Cappie is about Cappie. Mercury fans know about this also.

Isn't Cappie Pondexter dishing more assists this season than in any of her prior seasons? The Cappie-first criticism may be valid for past seasons, but it seems that she is making a concerted effort to involve others.

Yep. Cappie is second only to Sue Bird in assists for the season. And how well is her team doing? It's a matter of her having the ball in her hands that she wants. She wants to be top dog, even if that means being the one to set up her teammates. She did not want to be the one to set up Tina Charles in NY, since Tina got all the credit for team success.

Seriously folks, why would she leave a team that won the 'ship except to put the focus on herself? And why would she be an MVP candidate in NY until Tina Charles arrived? And why would she want to push out a former MVP in the league?

She didn't like playing with Taurasi? She wanted to live in New York? When you have won two titles other reasons can become more important than winning another title.

This video says otherwise. This was her first game back and she just got her ring.

I HATE that the Mystics owners block the league pass for out of town games. I'm supposed to use a free trial with their proprietary network, but since it won't let me subscribe, I'll have to follow this using the play by play on the WNBA site.

Says otherwise than what? It certainly gives a possible reason for her leaving other than that she wanted to be a team star in New York.

Does T Young get charged with a "flagrant foul" on the ref?

DT did nothing wrong she was going to check on Penny but Cappie probably thought she was coming to fight her.

Mystics up 61-34 at the half.

I know it's just the Sky, but nice bounce back after getting trounced by Minny. Everyone playing is making good contributions. Highlights:

EDD with FOUR assists
KTO with 16 pts, 4-4 from three
Cloud with 6 pts, 4 assists in 10 minutes
Ivory with 6 pts, 2 assists and 3 steals
K.Thomas with 5 rebounds and a couple points
Tayler with 10 pts, 2-4 from three
