This is how we lose it
It's Friday night, and I feel alright.
The party is here on the west side
I reach for the ball and I turn it over
I shoot like I'm drunk so you better take cover.
I hit Hayes cause I'm faded
She makes her free throws and I'm not jaded
So tip up your cup and throw your hands up
And let me hear the party say!
This is how we lose it
This is how we lose it

Going to be a tough one tonight. Everyone is going to have to play at their worst if the Sky want this loss.

Any particular reason Hollivay is starting?

Cappie fails to hold for last shot. Dream rebound the inevitable brick and score before the quarter ends. Drink.

Sykes with 18 pts, 9 reb

Looking like Plum is out of All Rookie conversation

Well it was weird that Cooper started Holivay (though he least pulled after just a few minute) and he was playing Sykes at the point for a while. Kiesel never saw the court, even when Laysia was gasping for air. He played everyone but Kiesel. Makes me think she is going the leaving once Sancho gets back.

Sykes looked pretty good except when playing point.

I can't believe that Sykes beat Vandersloot off the dribble on three straight possessions, and it never crossed Cooper's mind to run some switches, to give Hayes a couple of cracks at her.

BTW - Dwight Howard at the game wearing a Charlotte Hornets t shirt. I wonder if the Hawks know about this....

I'm pretty sure they'd be ok with it now Wink

Angel was at the game too to get honored for being in the Olympics. Someone asked me why she wasn't playing. I told them she was academically ineligible this summer.

Sykes does a lot of things I like, but she can't keep blowing layups and free throws

He was traded to Charlotte this past Wednesday.

2nd best FG% on the team. 52% on FT's. Maybe she is taking FT shooting lessons from Howard.

Do you have a FT criteria for All Rookie team? I don't think the voters will be looking that closely.

Anyway, I would think FT would be about the easiest aspect for a guard to fix, unless she has a weird hitch in her shot like Alyssa Thomas.

Her form looks OK, she just bangs them off the back iron. The Dream would have won last night if she hadn't missed two bunnies and all those free throws.

Her FT numbers in college were around 70%, now she's at 52%, but small sample. She should be able to meet or improve on her college numbers.

An actual Atlanta Hawk, Dennis Schröder, was also in attendance
