Is this going to be 30 minutes of TRP, and Latta running the bench as the only ballhandler? I didn't know I could miss Cloud more than I already did.

EDD, Meesseman and Toliver are the big 3. She is the 4th option

Toliver is the better player, but Hill has been above her in the pecking order this season. A lot of it comes down to Hill being aggressive to a fault while Toliver has been deferring a lot this season. She's had full games where she straight up refused to do anything on offense.

I don't think it's just the hair. She's looked much heavier from the beginning of the season.

I agree with LaChina, it was incidental on Thomas, but it should have been an obvious foul on EDD holding Sancho's arm.

Why are EDD, Toliver and Meesseman all on the bench. That is just asking for trouble

I guess this is why Toliver never drives.

Yes the Mystics should trade Meesseman right now Laughing

Thibault got smart and is playing Emma at PF and Delle Donne at SF. Thomas and Hawkins are sharing time at center now.

While she's the defensive specialist, it seems to have gotten worse and worse at the offensive end. And of course the opponents always sag off her. They definitely need an upgrade at this position. Too bad they lost Copper in the EDD trade. I'd give Laney another look when she gets healthy. But maybe they find something next year.

Well we have Cloud, but the bench falls apart when she's not out there with them so that's probably off the table. Maybe when Sanders is back next season Thibault can run bigger lineups more often.

They were damn sure not going to call anything on Delle Donne.

Her getting used and abused by Meesseman cost us the game. Mad props to Bria Holmes for bottling up Delle Donne in the second half.

Maybe it was a better idea to have her guard the bigger and slower Thomas and have Lyttle defending Meesseman..

Meesseman's line since rejoining the starting lineup:

6 G, 19.0 PPG (53.5 FG%/50.0 3P%/94.1 FT%), 5.0 RPG, 2.7 APG, 2.7 BPG, 1.2 SPG

Toliver hunting shots consistently now as well. Perhaps a little different than anticipated, but this group looks like a contender.

I have to say this after watching this game today on my computer: Th referee's in this league make me want to quit watching the WNBA. They impact the game so much. I get Tip complains as do the coaches on Atlanta, but come on, the Mystics are a jump shooting team and shot double the amount of free throws than the 2nd best team at getting to the line? They were horrible today and should be ashamed of themselves for officiating a game like that. The home crowd was booing them off the court!
