Seriously. I hope this is for charity and not because she needs the money. Teresa Edwards should be comfortable for the rest of her life. Of course, that's not always the case with sports legends.

Yeah, I'm curious too. I don't know what she's been doing these days, but I hope it's not a situation where she is destitute. Anyone remember when Sheryl Swoopes was so deep in debt, and her memorabilia was in a storage that she could not keep monthly payments for?

It's one thing to be a sport legend, but being a sport legend does not always guarantee financial freedom.
