I know this is beating a dead horse but we really should of held onto L. Allen.

Yeah, knowing Boyd and Prince wouldn't be available makes is more mind boggling why they cut L. Allen. Smith clearly wanted R. Allen, so why not attempt a trade involving Rodgers?

Maybe they did try some trades but it didn't work out. (I'm still thinking Rodgers and a 2nd round pick for Jefferson is on the table and my conspiracy theory includes waiving L. Allen knowing the Aces were first on the waiver wire was part of it, but maybe Jefferson and Rodger's injury timelines derailed the trade, but this is something I'm just making up so don't take it too serious).

Or if you're going to have faith in R. Allen maybe not sign Coleman and let Zellous and Nurse cover the SF spot along with Becca.

It seems like Smith is content with Nurse backing up at PG. When Prince and Rodgers return, they're likely to get all of the SG minutes. So, if Katie wants to give Nurse a lot of PT -- and it seems like most Liberty fans agree with this -- then those minutes will have to come at SF and PG. Maybe 15 minutes at each position for a total of 30. With Boyd eventually coming back, and Prince also able to play some point, that means they're four deep with Hartley as the starter. I guess that made Lindsay Allen expendable. As far as Coleman goes, she was signed to provide veteran leadership and toughness. Katie also thinks that Marissa can backup at 4, as well as 2 and 3. I'm not sure where that leaves Rebecca Allen in the long run. Perhaps she'll only be here until all of the perimeter players return. Then, maybe they replace her with a fifth post.

Injury updates as of 11 am
Power, Johnson, Plaisance all out indefinitely. Doesn’t sound like any of them are close to returning. Not bothering with the injury exception?

Boyd out indefinitely, which is a little surprising considering I’ve seen her practicing. On a timeline?

Prince is doubtful for the game.
Rodgers is questionable for the game.
Vaughn is probable for the game.

I’d also be all in on moving on from Powers, not sure she’s that much better the Davis, who has been playing well, and could move Gray to the bench.

Agreed although i do think her offensive game is a Tab bit better than davis's. She has that killer instinct that KD has yet to show .
