For those wondering, I will not be including college signees and commits when mentioning names because it gets too hard to keep track as I found out last year. If you are a Portland fan trying to find out if Haylee Andrews is playing, sorry.

Wow, AGU Spor add Natasha Lacy and veteran British forward Chantelle Handy - and it's Handy who earns 32 minutes of playing time while contributing heavily, while Lacy does virtually nothing. Pleasant surprise.

Korea's KDB Winnus is snakebit. Not only do they lost two forwards on a post-deficient team but Jewell Loyd now has a stress fracture and is out for 6 weeks. Their other player is Chante Black and was bad enough to get benched last night with the team going to an all-domestic lineup. I don't know the hardship rules there but would not be surprised if Loyd gets replaced with a post if they can find one. The coach seemed to forbid her from outside shooting in the first half so he wasn't using her right anyway.

That was their first game after arrival. I'll see on Thursday, they come to Gdynia in EuroCup.

Yeah, I know, although Handy again played a bunch of minutes and was productive in their league game at the weekend (nice to see her producing at a pretty high level). Lacy doesn't appear to have played in that game, but I have no idea what the reason was. Hopefully she's not injured already.

Heard some players may be leaving China for teams not paying the players.

AGU used up all four foreign slots without dressing Lacy so I think it was a case of choosing the other players over her. They only have Lacy and Tolo and non-Europeans so they can field their whole roster for EuroCup games.
