Not sure what's worse, listening to AMD when the Mercury are winning big or listening to AMD when the Mercury are losing big.

YIKES! Hartley is terrible. We have no offense when she's in the game.

Hartley basically blew that 15 point lead we had. Why can't we get the ball inside to Charles now?

just because she's -20 on the game? Rolling Eyes

to be somewhat fair, she just had a baby 4 months ago or so. She looks totally in shape, but still...

Don't care. That 15 point lead was blown while Hartley was in the game.

I like AMD, but it is pretty painful to listen to her homerisms.

Hartley is not a point guard. Plain and simple. She's an undersized 2, who's best coming off screens and hitting the occasional open shot. As long as New York plays her at point, whether it's backing up prince, or starting when she leaves for Euros, NY will struggle, but what other options do they have?

Disappointing last play. Sandy, you can't draw up a lob?

Thank goodness for Piph tonight!!! Prince was on fire tonight!!! Glad to see Charles back to her normal self tonight, too. Vaughn played well & gave us solid minutes off the bench. The bad: Hartley, Stokes, Hartley, Zahui B. & Hartley. This game shouldn't have been this close minus Taurasi. I also wonder why Burdick didn't play tonight?

Well. The Libs win. Other than that it felt a lot like a loss. Gotta give it up for Piph and I'll sleep better after a win. But let's be honest. That performance won't cut it against Seattle.

As crazy as it might sound, Sugar's shooting % is terrible this year but I still think she is going to be ok eventually. But more importantly, what in the world are we going to do if Hartley doesn't show more of an affinity for running the offense when Piph is gone?

While I agree that she's not a PG, she did play a little bit of it in DC without looking like a player who wasn't worthy of a WNBA spot. Part of the issue is that this type of offense is not made for her. And compared to DC's perimeter-oriented attack this is a big change for her.

Maybe we can get Anna Cruz to come back? Brianna Kiesel for a third round pick? Sydney Colson for a second round pick?

I've always said Hartley is more of a SG than PG, but right now she's not even a subpar PG. She looks about as good as Zellous did playing lead guard last season. NY needs a real PG and fast.

It also doesn't help that NY is playing this static offense where everyone sort of stands around until Tina moves or the ballhandler does. And when Tina isn't on the court, only the ballhandler moves. Laughing What the heck are they trying to do?

If Piph and Kia are out from 6/12-6/25 that means they only miss 3 games. Is that a realistic expectation?
