I think the ref should get a one game suspension.

That Part...thats horrible ..its like there out to get her seriously. Cant imagine a player wanting to stick around an organization in such fashion.

So you're suggesting the rules shouldn't apply to her?

It's against the Liberty, so I'm happy.

I suggest that the rules should apply to her but the refs should make the correct call at the time the incident happened and not 2 days later.

Just like when the Merc lost to the Lynx and when the Lynx lost to LA. Wrong calls were made at the time of the incidents took place (which in both cases would would have changed the outcome of the game) but were changed a day or 2 later. They need to do a better job or let the wrong calls stand. It makes the league look bad when they change calls after the fact/

The Mercury and Lynx calls/non-calls were never changed, they were just admitted to be incorrect.
The only things that get changed are flagrants and technicals because they involve player discipline and/or suspensions after a certain threshold.

Yea I'm confused. Are you guys referring to DT? Did she not get a flagrant for they elbow and that's why you guys are upset because she's getting a one game suspension instead? That's understandable, whatever the case, dumb foul by Taurasi.

I don't think it was a foul and I don't think the ref did either. She apparently called it "physical taunting", as that is what the arena announcer said, but it should have been treated like a punch. I am glad the league saw it that way.

As I recall all technical fouls are reviewed by the league after the fact and frequently they haven been overturned on review. I'm pretty sure that happened with Taurasi in the past. It should work both ways and in this case it did.

BTW - could it be that Diana was just wanting a little more time for her honeymoon.

WOW! at anyone saying this wasn't a foul, sure people love Diana but this was uncalled for by her and she's lucky none of the other star players didn't retaliate, it could have been a big mess.

This [hit, bump, punch, or whatever u want to call it] was completely unnecessary and not even relevant to the play. I love DT, but these antics have gone uncalled for too long. Only person who is to blame is her.

I love DT but I have to admit that seeing this is sadly disgusting. It always saddens me when really outstanding players diminish their game with stuff like this.

She is getting what she deserved. Now her team and fans are let down because she didn't have better control. It makes me sad. I will not stop loving the girl but I am disappointed.

I'm just patiently waiting for a player to literally put Taurasi on her ass before she retires.

Pierson was the first teammate Taurasi ran off
