Rebekkah Brunson, the 5th player in WNBA history to reach 3000 rebounds! Sparatcus is 35 years, 160 days old. She is the youngest to reach 3000 rebounds! She took 401 games to reach 3000, the 3rd fastest ever. She is the 1st player from the class of 2004 to reach 3000 rebounds!

No WNBA player has reached 4000 rebounds. The current record is 3316, held by Tamika Catchings.

In some ways it's even more impressive that she's still so effective at 35. How many hyper-athletic players have we seen tail off and retire earlier than expected because once they're not as explosive any more, there's nothing much left to their game? Brunson's still really good, even if she can't quite jump out of the gym like she used to.

Great point ... she still really can't shoot (though some nights she can make the elbow jumper) but she's still really good. And she had a major knee injury too, I think.

Players like her deserve more credit than they get, I think, and her especially.
