A loss would not be so bad, although I do hope the Mystics try to win.

New York is a better matchup than Connecticut for the Mystics, because of the mobility and array of skills that Connecticut's frontcourt has. As I do not expect those two to switch seeds today, that means the Mystics sliding to 6.

It would be sweet to see Kristi revert to her Mad Bomber ways for this game. I would hope that Elena, Kristi, & Emma have established an effective rapport at this point. It's time to sell out for the Purple & Gold, Kristi!

Candace: "We want to see the Maryland Kristi, Chica!"

Riquna: "Yeah! Remember when I ran you over in 2015 while playing for Dallas, and you got mad & threw down 43 points on us? Well, imagine I just ran you over again!!! Pretty please, with sugar on it?" Laughing

Tayler Hill scored 20 and 21 in the first two meetings. Gonna miss her in this one.

I'd rather give more minutes so someone who's going to be on the team next year, like SWK.

According to Kent Youngblood on Twitter

Quote:
pre-game Reeve confirmed what was already pretty much common knowledge: Whalen will be good to go for playoffs.

He should always have atleast 1 of EDD, Meesseman or Toliver on the floor at all times..

This would have been a great opportunity to make a run if at least one of our 3 best players wasn't sitting on the bench.

But instead we get Asia Taylor shooting 3s.
