This game is ugly so far, and of course it has no effect on anything. It seems that the Storm know that, given their substitution patterns/allotment of playing time.

Congratulations to Courtney Vandersloot, on breaking Ticha Penicheiro's record for highest single-season APG average! #TheOnlyWorthySuccessor #MFFL

KML not making a very good case for starting. Assume Clark is injured?

Chicago had a couple of chances to take the lead down the stretch. Dolson was wide open down low and Cappie missed her and the next possession Loyd appeared to foul Vandersloot who missed the layup. I don't think Chicago was as good after they traded away Boyette and Young. But two lottery picks next year and Kelly Krauskopf, the Fever GM was really high on next year's draft.

I was surprised they didn't call that foul on Loyd.

It seemed she struggled defensively and (surprisingly) offensively as well.

Per Doug Feinberg, both Clark and Bird were out for rest

Anyone know the minimum games-played to qualify for this? Ticha had 7.9 with 30/32 games and CV had 8.1 in 26/34? :?: |
Apparently, 26 is enough. I'm good with it; I don't hate Courtney Vandersloot.

That miss layup by Sloot was a nice set play by Stock.

Quigley was one less missed free throw away from starting the WNBA's 50-40-90 club.
Steve Nash, Larry Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry have done it in the NBA.
