Probably the Dream's best chance of beating the Lynx this year.

Everybody is in camp for the Lynx. Pierson will miss the preseason for concussion protocol.

Which is a shame, as the Dream are the only team I have 100% confidence in a pathetic loser franchise as the Lynx being better than this year. Smile

Ting putting up some decent stats this game. Any chance she beats out Osahor and Fagbenle for the last spot?

Hell yeah...

1.Chinese fan base.

2.Maya needs a backup.

3.She's earning a roster spot,unlike some players.

One of Osahor or Fagnenle makes the roster. Ting could be the backup SF.

I wouldn't say she's a sho thing but I'm guessing that she's the preferred option, and that if her basketball ability is in the ballpark then non-basketball reasons will get her that spot.

No they'd be too light on posts. Pierson's already dinged up. It'd have to be at the expense of Jones or there'd have to be a trade of Montgomery or Perkins. Ting is more on the guard side, yeah?

I wonder if Fowles can pull a Taurasi and rework her contract so Ting can slip in as the 12th man?

No, not on a 11-man roster. She's the youngest starter who plays the most minutes. They had a better option in Hampton if they needed a backup for Maya.

I would hope it takes more than 6 min of court time to earn a spot, but you're always impulsive like that.

Brunson's work on her shot is showing. 5-7 shooting with 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

Why do you say that? We shot a solid 34.6% in the first half. Our posts (Holivay, Chidom and Imovbioh) pulled down 3 rebounds all by themselves. And we had turnover to assist ratio of 2 (10 to 5.) This looks very promising. Wink Crying or Very sad

I like optimism! This is a great time of year because fans of every team have every reason to be optimistic. When reality sets in, then it becomes harder.

Osahor and Fagbenle in a contest to see who can foul out in the least amount of time on the floor.
