May 23 (Tuesday), 8 PM ET — Connecticut @ Minnesota (ESPN2)
May 30 (Tuesday), 7 PM ET — Los Angeles @ New York (ESPN2)
June 6 (Tuesday), 8 PM ET — Washington @ Dallas (ESPN2)
June 13 (Tuesday), 10 PM ET — Dallas @ Los Angeles (ESPN2)
June 23 (Friday), 8 PM ET — Washington @ Minnesota (ESPN2)
June 29 (Thursday), 8 PM ET — Seattle @ Connecticut (ESPN2)
July 6 (Thursday), 8 PM ET — Los Angeles @ Minnesota (ESPN2)
July 18 (Tuesday), 9 PM ET — Chicago @ Seattle (ESPN2)
July 22 (Saturday), 3:30 PM ET — WNBA All-Star Game 2017 (ABC)
July 25 (Tuesday), 8 PM ET — New York @ Minnesota (ESPN2)
August 3 (Thursday), 8 PM ET — Atlanta @ Minnesota (ESPN2)

3/4 of the games have Los Angeles, Minnesota, or both.

Washington at Dallas is an interesting choice. ESPN rarely picks up games between teams that missed the playoffs the year before.

It's also unusual for the #1 pick to not have an ESPN game.

EDD/Diggins star power. Makes sense.

Ill be there front and center . Excited to see ESPN will be coming back down south . Last years PHX game was probably the 2nd best game of the year behind the opener against SAN . The atmosphere was electric Exclamation

They haven't abandoned the "3 to see" yet and that's 2/3 of them.

Quote:
Shattered Backboard reached out to the network to find out why the Stars didn’t make the cut and ESPN Communications Manager and Spokesperson Tara Chozet told us that there may be more games added to the schedule at a later date.

“It’s a collaborative effort between us and the WNBA to create the schedule of games,” Chozet told us. “As always, we are constantly reviewing the league storylines as the season progresses and can adjust our schedule accordingly. We will also offer a slate of ESPN3 games (to be announced at a later date) that will feature a variety of teams.”

Rolling Eyes Almost everyone wants to see her play at least one game regardless of whether they are a SAS fan or not. Even Atlanta has a game with no star power.

More proof ESPN hates Atlanta - they always seem to have a Dream at Lynx game, I'm sure fully expecting a blowout.

Lots of games, even though NBA-TV is usually a premium channel ...

And all the games are on League Pass.

So if you want to watch the WNBA, you certainly can. The casual viewer can see a few games on ESPN, but again, it's not like people haven't been exposed to the league over the past 20 years. It would be nice if more games were more accessible but I don't think it would move the needle much.

And those who do care about women's basketball have plenty of chances to watch the best league in the world.

You'll be able to watch the Twitter games without any kind of subscription. Doubt you'll even need a Twitter account, but that's the most you might need.

WATCHMEWORK is still working for $2 off League Pass.
