11/13 for adamj95, AdmiralNeeda, LadyLauren & lynxmania last week, and it's a 6-way tie on the overall standings.

Home teams have won 17 games, so just picking the home team would end up in a tie for 24th place.

Yep. In case you missed it earlier in the thread my tips are always the home teams, and I'm falling towards the bottom quite quickly.

Sometimes it's harder to pick the better team than picking the worst team. There are quite a few pretty bad teams this year working for the lottery balls.

Lynxmania was on track for the first perfect round of the competition until this afternoon.
After getting the first game wrong, Newkid finished the round on a 10-0 streak to win round 4 Smile

Good Point, Randy lol. I might start doing that but I think I'm still tied for 2nd even after choosing the Wings, so as long as they don't have to many games that tipping week they'll get my mercy vote haha.

Bad night for favorites. Sparks and Storm fall to the lowly Wings and Fever. As expected Lynx continue to roll on. I voted for Sparks and Storm but fortunately, almost everyone else did as well.

You know, if we are tracking the Rebkell Polls, they should probably have a time limit set on them so that people cannot vote after the game is half (and sometimes completely) over.

Or at least let me adjust my picks at halftime as well.

Just FYI, when I can (which so far has been every time) I'm using the vote count as it stands at tip-off time to do the "Rebkell Polls" picks.

(What would be cool is if some other people could pitch in with starting game threads, because ideally they should be started a multiple of 24 hours before tip-off so that the poll cut-off time can be sync'ed to game tip-off times. The time difference to where I am means that I can't post afternoon game threads at the right times)

How can you use the poll vote count at tip-off time when the game locks in one's picks 5 hours before the tip-off time? Question

Here's a hot tip. I just saw on dot com the scores. It has listed for Today Sun Beating the Liberty 96-76. For Tomorrow Fever Beating Dream 85-74 and Sparks 80 Stars 75. Everyone should adjust their tips accordingly.

There have been results that have tripped up nearly everyone. 2 "horrible" rounds and you're still just 2 points from equal 1st.

Congrats to Dinkytown for winning round 6, and Randy & PamelaT for joining lynxmania at the top of the overall standings. Smile

Muneravenmn claims round 7 thanks to an 8-game winning streak. Nice!

Amazingly there are now 7 people tied for 1st place overall:
bcdawg04, Calbearman76, Hangtyme24, FemmeFatale, PUmatty, lynxmania & PamelaT.

going on vacation is a killer for fantasy life. But I see I'm in good company tied with pilight, newkid, and tbinta ( and Lady Lauren who I don't 'know') so I guess it's all well and dandy!

Nice work by adamj95, Michelle89 & tbinta this past week - 10/12 correctly tipped.

bcdawg04, Calbearman76, FemmeFatale, PUmatty & PamelaT are tied for 1st place overall, but nearly everyone is still in striking distance.

Equal winners of round 9 were Calbearman76, justintyme, pilight, and Rebkell Polls, all with 9/12 correct.
(mysticsfan12 & I also scored 9, but only as a result of being assigned the home teams)

So we have a lone overall leader now - Calbearman76

I feel more like I am rounding into form, just as Kristen Anigwe and my Cal Bears will do in a few months. And though I doubt it will happen, I would hope that you will be rooting for my Bears November 17 at UConn.
