If I ever watched ESPN for anything other than a WBB game, it's been so long ago that I don't remember. Now that they have streaming for just about all games in which I'm interested, I never watch the channel.
Same for 90+% of all the channels I get from my ripoff cable provider.
Trying to fill 24 hours with sports content must produce a lot of boring crap.
Growing up in NYC, we got seven channels for free, beamed from the Empire State Building, with a rabbit ears antenna. It was more than enough content. Test patterns could be contemplative if not addictive. |

Uh oh, I hope they don't do away with their ESPN 360 coverage of college sports. That app has so many games you can't watch them all. I couldn't believe it when I first saw how many games were available on a particular day. I don't know how they can afford to broadcast some of them as they were broadcasting mid-major games, and some of the games seemed below "mid-major".

The rights are pretty cheap, and they often use local feeds so the production costs are minimal.
