Congrats, Kindred! Tough as nails and one of my favorite players to play here. She was competing with an injured elbow that will probably require surgery.

Why would they?

This is about how many you can MAKE, not how many you can TAKE.

Her 31.4% ranks her 164th in 3pt FG percentage. They could run five of these contests and still not work their way down to her among the best senior 3pt shooters.

She still finished in the top 10 in the nation. Some nights she hit everything she threw up, others she didn't. That happens when you are a high volume shooter..

She's a brilliant scorer, but she's high-usage, not high-percentage. And they were looking for a combination of usage and percentage. I suspect there were quantity qualifications as well, because otherwise Akina Wellere and her 45% shooting from beyond the arc would like to say something.

pulling them off a rack is also a totally different dynamic than game situation. It's fun, but not a realistic gauge.
