Graves better get the Ducks in town today, to acclimate.

8:30 a.m. tip is brutal.

They've been on the east coast for a while now

Do they stay on the East Coast from Monday night to Thursday when they probably have to arrive in Bridgeport?

Question, with an 11:30am start time, what time do they players get up for a pre-game meeting, meal and shoot around?

No they didn't stay. They had final exams this week and had to go back to Oregon for them. So the 8:30 tip should be particularly brutal for them.

Wow. I wonder how often this has happened. That's asking way too much, imo.

“I don’t think we can just go toe to toe with them, basket for basket. If we want to play that game we’re in trouble because they’re the best in the country at it.”

I'm really hoping for a miracle here, but unfortunately it looks like a UConn-Maryland rematch is inevitable.

Wow! And I thought that the 9:00 pm tip time at ND was bad (I still blame that for Bri's injury!)

NCAA needs to address things like this.

oregon definitely got the deck stacked against them. Two trips coast to coast with exams packed in the middle doesn't seem too fair. But they sound like they are just happy to be into the sweet sixteen. I think they arrived in Eugene around 4 am on Monday and had finals starting that morning and it seems they only got two practices in this week and are traveling today. I wonder if they will even see the arena before the game. On the other hand I'm guessing that whatever Husky fans arrive early will be rooting for them. Wink

Indeed. And I'm sure Brenda will tell the Terps- see that, they're afraid of you!

I hope the game is close with 5:00 left.

Only about an hour from tip time. Do you know where your favorite Oregon players are? 😪

If I'm Oregon, I am bombing 3's. You have nothing to lose as a 10 seed in the Sweet 16. Oregon has a lot of 3 point shooters and Maryland isn't that good at defending the 3.

If I'm Maryland I am trying to pound it inside. Oregon has a lot of height but its mostly freshmen who haven't been in the college strength & conditioning programs for long, so they may not be able to handle the physicality of Brionna Jones, her sister, and Maryland's other posts. My guess is Oregon plays a zone and packs it in which could work but unlike Duke I think Maryland doesn't have as many players you can just avoid guarding.

I thought this game would be closer than the seeds indicate but the betting action doesn't agree. I think the line was around 10 but now I see Oregon as 14 point underdogs. Not as bad as Quinnipiac vs. SC, but not great for the underdog.

lol, even in the taped clips shown pregame they are asking Maryland player and coach about playing UConn. Can we get some UConn-free storylines in a non-UConn game?

They just said Oregon's the tallest team in the country. Wonder how that translates to stopping Jones.

Very low scoring game, 2-0 Oregon with 6:21 left in the 1st. Think Vegas has the point total at like 150.

Maryland up 6-5 with 4:40 left. If the game stays low scoring Oregon has a fighters chance.

Oregon only took 1 three and didn't make it, figured they would shoot more. Maryland is -4 on the rebounds right now, that is how Oregon can keep a lead.

The majority of OR s game is in the paint, they have a few bigs and Hebard IMO is there best freshman, but McGwire is better at the little mid range pop which could be a difficult guard for 1 of the Jones.

That should be a technical.

Amazing Oregon is in position with Hebard playing so poorly.

Maryland making some really sloppy passes. Oregon up 21-20 with 6:50 left before the half.
