I missed last year's game. Can someone give a synopsis of how/why the Trees won?

Made some crazy heave/bank-in shots out of nowhere. Had a good gameplan and well coached, as usual. Just hit big out-of-their minds shots in that game.

Stanford flat out scored the ball and did so efficiently. Everyone was hitting 3's. Everyone was finishing. They never got down by more than a few points early, they kept with the Irish and then made some runs and kept the lead for good.

They had one lucky hot shooting game where everything they threw up went in, including wild off balance 25 foot bank shots.
Their season shooting averages were 42% overall, and 36 % from the arc. In that one game they shot 56% overall and 55% from the arc - almost twenty percent over their average.
That has nothing to do with coaching or enthusiasm.
If they shoot out of their minds again, they'll probably win again.
But that is a synopsis of how they won.
Next game they reverted to the norm and got beat by Washington.

I looked at the box score from last year and N Dame took 6 three point shots. Yesterday they took 24, 37% of all their shots. The loss of Turner changes things for the Irish.
Hope they can fill more than 15% of the seats.

Sure they could if they played 80 miles from campus.

I am seeing a spread of ND -3 but I wonder if that factors in Turner's injury or not. I heard for men's basketball they do adjust lines based on injuries but someone had told me for women's basketball its basically just the computer models, whatever propriety data they use in a similar means to the Sagarin's of the world.

So, the big question I have is does Lili give her new-to-be team any scout on her former team?
And my second question is how valuable would/could info like that be?

I knew they played last year but I forgot they played in 2015. Same region 3 years in a row, same ND-Stanford matchup. I know its hard to avoid these rematches but I wish we could get more variety in pairings.
Also did not realize McCall's career high was last year vs. ND

ND-OSU was a 3 point fest and Samuelson begins the game with a 3, then Mabrey matches with a 3.
