Why wasn't that a kick ball by Baylor?

Have I mentioned how grateful I am that Mike Carey is no longer in my conference to wreck shit? Because that's what West Virginia does. They get posts who can beat the crap out of you on defense and on the glass, and they get shooters who can light it up from outside (goddamn Bulgers), and they go into tournaments and wreck shit.

Bears w/the 6-0 run and another deep three by Muldrow!

Baylor's press is swiss cheese

Most presses are tbh. Well-disciplined offensive teams like this one will make them look awfully gimmicky.

but most teams have at least somebody back to cover.

So many question marks with injuries. Jones at Baylor, Mavunga at Ohio State, Coates at SC. Their availability can change their teams fortunes if healthy.

Anybody saying anything about Jones other than day to day?

What exactly is the injury?

Baylor has won 6 straight conference tournaments. Can't imagine many others, if any, have a streak as long. That is coming to an end. PARITY! Cool

Notre Dame is closest with the last year of BE and first four ACC for a string of five straight and counting.

It should have been for sure. Instead Baylor gets a layup.

She hasn't played in a little while and unless its a season ender I don't think any coach will be honest about the players status so it doesn't hurt their seeding. I'm just skeptical they are being honest. Mavunga looks like she is far from returning but McGuff is saying she's eyeing a return for the tourney. When? Maybe the final game if they make it?

I think Jones' is a knee. Very tricky. And if she doesn't play in the tourney it will for sure effect her draft stock.

Baylor is down 15 with 6:03 left. Kalani Brown with 3 fouls is the only Baylor player in foul trouble. Montgomery for WVU has 3 also

Pretty sure she has a prior history of knee injuries, didn't she get hurt at Duke too?

Yup. I'd be worried about it if I were GMs

Yeah, an ACL. This is supposedly 'just' a bone bruise.

Somebody's got to go towards the ball for WVU on this press.

WVU going into slo-mo way too early.

WVU forgetting how to play basketball is a disturbing development here.

WVU is getting really tired, I think.

Big foul there, Montgomery has 4 fouls and now Baylor is shooting 2 the rest of the way. Montgomery has 6 boards and 3 blocks

WVU players and even Carey just look like they know they're going to lose.

Not a good attitude at the moment.

Plenty of time left to blow this.

Huge bucket by Martin. WVU was scoreless for over 3 minutes. WVU up 12, 3:53 left but Davis going to the line.

Looked it up and she also had microfracture surgery.
