SCar leads 63-60 after three quarters. And Coates is out.
KY trailed by 14 in the third quarter and cut it to 2 just before the end.
We have a game.

And then the announcers said that Dawn left the decision up to Coates.
Isn't the player the last person who should be making that decision?
Of course the player wants to play.

It's ridiculous.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't think it matters much, unless
Wilson gets in foul trouble.
As I've said before, I think the SC offense runs better with 1 tower on the floor at a time.

100% - think SC is more fun to watch and the flow is better with just 1 tower, even though the Gamecocks are in trouble right now.
Next year they could be really dangerous.

Players need to learn there is no disgrace in bringing the ball back out.
You see these players charge to the basket with a defender in good position and you just know they're not going to make the layup.
As Epps just did at a key juncture.
Bring the damn thing back out and get a better shot!

SC up 9 with 1:30 and the ball. SC likely clinching a spot in the SEC Championship.
Kudos to Kentucky on their season though. Compare them and Tennessee, both have very short rotations, UK because of transfers, UT because of injuries. But UK is really maximizing their talent and they play so hard. They have deficiencies, sure, but they can hang their head high after this game on the season the regular season + conf tourney they've had.

I'm 100% with you on that. Especially if that tower is Wilson. Gray at the 4 is just so hard for anyone to match up with.

I could see this. I guess the formula is press the guards and then pack it in a 2-3 zone and dare them to shoot? In the early rounds the teams they play won't have the size to match up anyways.
