CLose game. Ducks up 26-24, 3:3? 2nd.

Plum with 2 airballs. As the crowd chanted airball for the 2nd time, Mary Murphy questions the Ducks' fans- do you REALLY wanna do that?

Wth Mary, kelsey just a baller. Laughing

Ducks looking like they can pull off the win, so far.

and here you can see how Osahor can struggle if you defend her with size and athleticism. Plum is Plum but she's gotta have help. Anyway Oregon had just about the perfect half. I expect WA to take care of bizness in the second half. Still, you can really see that this Ore. team is gonna be one to pay attn to in the future. They have some really outstanding Frosh. who are coming into their own.

You forgot to say Osahor struggled her way to 14 reb and 3 assists at the half.

9-0 Huskies run, highlighted by Plum diving after her lost ball, in front of the UW bench, grabbing it between to Ducks, and bounce passing to Romeo in the corner, who hoisted a three which grabbed the far rim went straight up, and dropped through the cylinder.

48-41

Bando! kid is outPlumming Plum. 4-4? 3s in the 4th. Maybe 3-3. Anyway, UW pulled ahead by 8, Ducks make an 8-0 run.

TO UW at 5:04, tied at 64.

Plum & Osahor get the stats, but Ionescu has superhero status with me.
Unselfish, makes teammates better, and gets it done.

Key play was the UW turnover, on a moving screen, while inbounding under their basket with :49 left, up 69-68.

We never were given a replay. The baseline camera would have given a definitive look.

This might just me being emotional right now...but the same calls were not made on both sides of the court. And that is all I am going to say about it.

Great game by the Ducks. Graves' defensive gameplan was brilliant.

Ruthy Hebard gives Lexi Bando a kiss on the cheek as she is being interviewed after the game. Not sure if that was because Bando had a great game or because she looks like an actress. Razz Oregon was 11-23 from 3 (47.8%) while Washington was 5-24 (20.8%).

pretty amazing game. Grats to the Duckettes for a pretty amazing performance by a bunch of youngsters at a nonneutral site. They have earned their berth in the NCAAs.

Plum's shot just seemed a little off tonight. Like she missed some of the shots that she typically makes. And that would have made a difference. Even though I love Osahor, it was a little annoying to me that she was begging for foul calls every time she banged in to someone. I guess because of her injuries she's not able to get into shape which is too bad, because she has such great instincts, hands, and passing ability. Maybe the extra time off will actually be good for her. I don't know.

And frankly Stanford has to be happy. They had a relatively easy win today and now they will face what I expect to be an emotionally drained Duck team that just played two hard games in a row.

the P12 has been pretty fun to watch this year. Just hoping they'll get some tourney wins as well.

Lexi should be giving Ruthy a kiss on the cheek after this one. Actually they all played well, but Ruthy's inside play was definitely key.
