ESPN is on top of things this year. The Women's Bracket game is already accepting entries. Our group is Board Junkies Know All. The password is napheesa

Wow, this has never been a sticky before. I don't know what to do if I'm not bumping it every day.

Only 26 entries. Is this the lowest turnout for entries?

It would be the lowest since 2001, the first year we did this back on the ESPN boards.

There's no question that the traffic here isn't what it once was.

While only one bracket is allowed in our group, you can fill out up to 25. I encourage all of you to use all the brackets you can!

I'm figuring THIS means only ONE bracket I create is 'contributable' to our group effort. If I make several brackets, how do I select/define WHICH of my brackets I want submitted for the group's pool?

ETA: I *think* I got it done. Razz

When you attempt to enter the group, it should ask which one you want to use.

The best thing about the increased number of brackets is that I can run the Fun Brackets competition without assistance.

First game doesn't start for over an hour, but it says it's locked and won't let me join.

Guess I'll miss it this year.

It was doing that earlier, but it's working properly now. Try again!

When I try, when I click on the group name, it says "Group is locked". When I put in the password it says you have to check the box next to an entry, but there are no boxes to check. It's all grayed out because it's already locked.

I give up.

We wound up with an even 60 entries, slightly down from last year. ESPN locking the group early apparently cost us some entries.

The only game that messed me up today was the Green Bay/Purdue result.

Currently tied for 57th place. Guess I'm done. None of my predicted upsets panned out.

First round doesn't matter all that much. Now it starts getting interesting. But we've had some good games so far. Lots of fun stuff.

oh. Shocked Yep, that's a problem. My theory is that you gotta take an underdog someplace...just maybe not in the first round. Wink

Despite the paucity of upsets, only 46 brackets in the country are still perfect.

Well, I guess I'm doing well. I only missed 3 of the 4 8/9 games (which are tossups) and the Marquette/Quinnipiac game, and every single one of those won't count against me the rest of the way if none of them win. Wink

Much better than my Men's bracket. I chose as NC a team that went to the Elite Eight the last two years, but who ended up losing in the 2nd round... Confused

Probably because few picked Quinnipiac over Marquette. That is really the only game that stood out as an outlier.

A team that went 6-12 in the Pac 10 beat a team that went 8-8 in the SEC. I definitely didn't call that.

I have a system that normally works pretty well. For some reason it gave me a bunch of upsets this year.

Almost all of Cal's losses in PAC-12 play were very close, so I believe Cal is better than their conference record showed.

Gee, that's funny. I could have sworn that I copied my ND Nation bracket exactly for the ESPN one. Apparently, I didn't since there was one difference: For some reason I picked UK instead of tOSU on the ESPN one. Doh!
