Hawaii 35-29 H


CSUN features BW POY Channon Fluker, who led the conf. in scoring, rebounds, and blocks and was last year's FOY. She had 19/7 in the 1st half.

CSUN's Eliza Matthews was this year's FOY.

CSUN wins 71-64.

Fluker 39/12 20th double-double.

She ranks nationally in reb avg, total rebounds. and is 5th (IIRC) in double-doubles.

Nobody could stop Fluker. Even with the half time lead, I figured the Wahine would fade once the Big West Player of the Year got going. Tough season for Hawaii after winning the automatic bid last year.
