I finished reading the Joanna Schaffhausen thriller Last Seen Alive today. Besides the great thrill ride of a story, I got an additional bonus when I saw that I got thanked by the author in the acknowledgements!

As you may recall, every year for Black History Month I make sure to read a book by a black author. This year it's Blood on the Fog by Tongo Eisen Martin.

I'm teaching "Born A Crime" by Trevor Noah right now - an absolutely outstanding book.

If you have access to it, I definitely recommend the audio as well. He reads the book, and his performance is great.
