Kellie Jolly Harper's husband Jon Harper has been an assistant for her for ~13 years...Western Carolina, NC State, Missouri State.

Regardless of the PC-ness of the relationship, the travel has to make this working arrangement hard for any couple with kids.

It's worked so well for Kristy Curry ...

Rizzotti's husband, Bill Sullivan, left her staff after 17 seasons this summer. The Daughertys are still coaching together after at least 21 years between UW and WSU. Who else employs their husband/wife on the sidelines?

Didn't Sandy Brondello employ her husband Olaf Lange as her assistant?

She did for the WNBA seasons, but during the European club season, they switched places and she was his assistant. Let's see if they can face each other in the 2020 Olympics.

Interesting. Quite the polarizing coach, but I'm a longtime admirer. Will be interesting to see how the rest of her career shakes out from here, i.e. will she ever get or even pursue a major head coaching job again or will she be an expert, senior assistant?

Updated jobs filled ... still a few that opened that are not showing replacements yet (not sure if they will hire this season or just wait)

Quote:
Palmateer amassed an 86-111 overall record in six and a half years at the helm of the Monmouth women's program. Top assistant Jody Craig will assume all head coach responsibilities.
