Cal Davis at California is on comcast west, 3:27 to go, Cal up 59-56, I missed the entire game, just noticed my TIVO recording light was on.

did you get blacked-out of the last 5 mins. of the wyo-col game when it ran past 10pm (E)?! thank god it was a blow out.

Cal played a good game, coming from behind in both halfs. UC Davis had great shooting inside and out in the first half, and Cal made some poor shot selections. They were lucky to tie it by the half. But Cal made great adjustments, and their defense improved markedly in the second half. Plus their 3-point shots started going in, just as UCDavis' shots stopped falling. UCDavis had much more balanced scoring, but Cal's freshmen were again the stars - Jene Morris 18 points, Alexis Gray-Lawosn 16 points, Ashley Walker 16 points. In a couple of years this team is going to be a real threat.

Devanei Hampton sprained her left knee. Hope she makes a comeback soon.
