"With 2:18 left in the spiteful clash, it was Snell who dragged her Adelaide defender Jenni Screen to the floor and when Screen reacted to the attention, Snell rolled her over in a headlock. Unimpressed, Screen was getting to her feet when she was shoved from behind by Porter as players congregated in unprecedented scenes at a women's basketball game. Porter became the first player ejected in WNBL history."

The video also shows a separate incident in which Porter, while setting a screen to get team-mate Narelle Lindsay open, lifts her elbow and connects with Erin Phillips' head.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Don't hurt my Sun's future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Throw her out of the league!

you should have seen erin on sunday - her feeds into the paint were sensational, her pull up jumpers all net, 5'7" out rebounding 6'2" post players.

porter regularly whacked her aound the head

erin just gave more

erin is in very good health at present - tanned, blonde locks, smiling, putting in 100% on the court, no trash talk, just gam, game, game - all going well she could be right up there

she is really whalen esque in her game

she slotted a pearler 2 points from the end line, swished the shot - but appeared to be behind the backboard !

I talked to one of the Sun coaches about her on Saturday, the one that works with the Guards. She CAN'T WAIT to work with Erin.

However video of the incident, obtained by The Advertiser yesterday, clearly shows Snell as the instigator

Anyone who's seen her play more then once, I'd say.
She's a tough cookie who is not afraid to get in the paint with the posts if that's what is called for!

Playing tough in the paint is different than dragging down her defender and rolling over her in a headlock. Idea Rolling Eyes

Basketball is a very physical game whether the contact is legal or not, whether we like it or not. So its going to be like a " going gets tough, tough get going" kind of thing.

Yes it is, and pink isn't blue Idea Rolling Eyes

Mountain out of a molehill. Maybe Sydney should focus on why they can't get Snelly more shots.

so how did you enjoy the game?

you must've been there because you jump all over one side as if you witnessed things from INSIDE the gym.

Yep, got to fight fire with fire Cool It's the only thing these clowns understand.

BTW, I already told the people who were genuinely interested in my thoughts on Kendra Wecker. The rest, which were just interested in my opinion just to find a way to trash it, I didn't tell. Laughing Maybe you can go ask Kendra the next time you're in San Antonio! Cool
