The dynasty continues! Yeah!!!

But will she stay if she doesn't get the minutes desired ?

The only UCONN player who got the minutes right away that I can think of was Maya as not even Diana started until Shea and Svet went down with injuries and Breanna had to wait her turn. She will get minutes as both Gabby and Kia leave after this year and Katie Naphessa and Azura before her sophomore year . That will leave Crystal, Morgan, Lexi, Andrea, Batouly, Mikalya and her so no worry about the minutes. Besides with her talent the last thing she has to worries about is minutes. Same with Morgan. One would think she factored that all in before she made her decision.

Williams has to be the highest ranked shooting guard to pick Uconn since Diana, can Geno make her into the Next Diana?

She wants to be legendary, so that is up to her as well as Geno and the staff. Time, as always, will tell. Pretty tall order though.

Your forgetting Megatron , KLS will still be there next year along with Napheesa , Azura & Crystal D. Maybe by her sophmore season possibly she will get minutes.

As mentioned, freshman, even the elite freshman coming to UCONN will fight for minutes the first year just like Diana, Tina, and Breanna did. By her sophomore year with the further attrition of Katie, Azura and Nephessa, she will start with Crystal, Morgan, and Batouly so again minutes will not be a problem especially if she is as good as Geno believes she is going to be.

Uconn does lose there starting 2 guard after this season, Williams could break into that starting spot early on next year IMO.

Couldn't find out anything about her, but Erin Howard, Madison (WI) East HS, signed with Auburn. Was of interest to me as Madison is my home town, although I went to a different high school.

I'd be willing to bet that at least one of Coombs, Gordon or Espinoza-Hunter doesn't make it past next season; maybe two. Unless Geno is planning on playing Walker at the 5, at one of them will never even have an opportunity to start.

Coombs could end up being Another Kelly Faris type player.

Maybe they can swap one for one of those Texan posts.

I like that idea. Stanford is stocking up on wings. Maybe we could swap out one of those for a post from Oregon. I understand trying to take best available but it seems weird when you already have several young posts to keep signing them. I guess it's insurance, but does mean that somebody's going to be disappointed.

#5 Olivia Nelson-Ododa is deciding today around 1pm. Will be between Duke, SC, UConn and UGA.

Any guesses?

Bob Corwin, who knows his stuff, says Duke is the favorite -- and I'll follow his lead.

In a comparison of recruiting to a game UConn's recruitment season was akin to a 15 point 4th quarter comeback. UConn goes from zero verbal commitments early in November to what I would guess is now a top 5 class.

The beat goes on.

You underestimate the Elizabeth Williams factor. EWill spoke up so no other top players come to Duke under Coach JPM. She wanted to make sure they wouldn't be lured by the acadmics. #NotWorthTheMisery

I don't understand ranking Breanna Brown in GeoTechs 2018 class. She grad transferred, has played in 23 games this season, and likely will be ineligible next season.
