Parker or Charles winning the mvp would not surprise me at all.Syl's had a terrific season, but she and the mighty lynx are limping towards the finish line.Since Whalen went down,Syl's point production has dropped 25%

24gms:20.6p/69% ....... last 7 gms:15.1p/54%

She's also been outplayed by Charles and Parker during this 7 game stretch.Parker(LA)/Charles(NY) are ascending while Syl(Minny) are descending.Charles is avg 20p/8r during the lib 8 gm win streak which includes wins over the top 3 teams in the league.Parker in her last 12 gms is avg 18.9p/9r/4.1a/50%.LA has a 10-2 record over that stretch(2 wins against minny).Parker won the mvp back in 2013 with a very similar stat line:

2013:17.9p/8.7/3.8/1.8/1.2/49%/26%/76%

2017:17.1/8.4/4.3/1.7/1.4/48%/36%/76%

Unfortunately for Syl,Parker had a horrible game earlier this season against the lynx that most people in the media will ignore,or have just forgotten.I believe most of the voters will focus more on the great finishes by Charles/Parker rather than the great start by Fowles.Charles playing in NY/uconn pedigree, and Parker being the bigger star/media favorite could also play a role in the voting.

There is no such thing as the Mighty Lynx. I think you mean Feeble Lynx. The Lynx could have the Golden State Warriors roster on their team and they'd still not win any championships they are so pathetic/stupid/anti-clutch.

Never! Though she'll probably win WNBA Finals MVP again because unlike the Lynx, she actually cares and knows how to win big games in the postseason.

I voted for Fowles. Maybe now the nightmares with her wearing that mask will stop.

Fowles has been great but the tail end of the season her dominance has wavered. Im going with CP3

I am outraged, as this is a season-long award, and Parker hasn't been playing without key teammates due to injury lately, and Nneka is better than Maya this year again (😭).
But regular season doesn't matter much anyways, and Parker has proven she knows how to win championships in the postseason, unlike the Lynx who only have won titles when they had at least 3 or 4 more superstars than their Finals opponent so it should be impossible not to win.

Maya is a transformative player. Nneka is not.
