Just 1 scoop of Espresso Coffee before tip off please.

Oh and some of that "Secret Sauce" too, whatever it is, it's working.

I like the move. I guess the Sun were able to claim her off waivers before we could, so they end up with our 2nd rounder next season.

Now, who goes? Sancho has been called up by Spain, so no one gets cut right away. I don't know who we would cut - Morello? Simmons? Holivay?

should be Hollivay. No need for both Morello & Hollivay.

Probably should - but Morello is injured and can't play for several more weeks, so we don't have a back up center without her for the time being. Morello probably gets paid whether we cut her or not, but she was out for 6 weeks anyway. I think Morello is better but neither have shown anything this season or last. Maybe Morello gets healty when Sancho gets back.

Good trade for Connecticut. Trade a fringe roster player who was claimed off waivers and isn't even in the rotation for a future asset.

Any of them would be fine. Maybe cut Hooper if she doesn't show something while Sancho is gone.

At present it would be 19th pick. Not exactly much of an asset. She can hit 3's - something we lack.

Here's the best part - Dream play the Sun on Saturday. Hoops can burn her old team before she even has to leave town. Laughing

Considering everyone loves the depth of the 2018 draft, seems expensive for someone Connecticut are giving up on after a month (after Dallas dumped her for nothing).

On the bright side, at least Hooper hits her threes occasionally. I'm deeply tired of the Meighan Simmons Experiment, and I'm not even a Dream fan.

Hooper is changing numbers to #53, which suggests the Dream believe Angel McCoughtry is coming back at some point

Meanwhile,

Matee Ajavon is planting seeds for a career after basketball.

You might be right, but even if Angel never played another game for the Dream her number should be retired when she is done playing. So no one else should be using it.

Good timing. I've been thinking how lost she's looked this season...except for the last game where she actually contributed. Anyway it's a good idea and hopefully it works out for her.

I like the trade, especially since I ~predicted 5/8ths of this, minus Lyttle and a 1st rounder being part of it. So I have to say I like it, and I like it anyway independent of ego-wankery.

Now if Hooper just is given solid playing time ... more room for Hayes + Clarendon to operate.

So that last game that Hollivay started was just a kind jesture by Cooper? Must be bringing someone else in.

Well those two just haven't contributed at all. I had hope for Kiesel but she did next to nothing. Angel was at the Sky game to be honored, maybe she is coming back. However. we have no backup PG , so makes me think they have a PG coming in. Not sure who that would be. (On second thought - we have Ajavon to backup Clarendon. Sad Maybe it is Angel)

Ajavon can back up the PG. Who else has been doing it if Kiesel doesn't get minutes?

Should I make a quick poll on who ATL is signing? My money is on McCoughtry, but Burdick is floating around out there. Hasn't Cooper always liked her? But I would think they would announce a signing of Burdick at the same time they announce the cut of Hollivay. Maybe they're waiting to make a big event out of a McCoughtry signing. Quite a mystery here. ATL fans should be on top of this.
