I'm not quite sure that making the playoffs should be the goal, but owners may feel like that gives the team some respectability. There is apparently going to be quite a race to the bottom this year. I guess we did one thing right last season in losing to the Stars 2 (or was it 3?) times.

I think Sykes could play the 3 - she gets a lot rebounds for her size. I also think we should be looking at the waiver wire. If Sho Thind doesn't make the Lynx she might be a good pickup. Likewise if Boyd, Allen or Chong become available, they may be an improvement on our bench players.

I hope this is to make room for Williams, Dantas and Lyttle.

BTW - you read it here first:

Sad to think about it, but probably a number of these players will play in their last WNBA game tonight. I'm thinking Chidom, Imovbioh, maybe Jarry and Knight as well. They've not really played. Makes me think they are not part of the future plans.

Rachel Jarry has been waived. Wonder if someone might pick her up(Phoenix? New York?)

One more cut for Atlanta. Simmons? Morris?

She's tough and can commit a mean moving screen.
You can always wait for Cooper to be cut from CHI, or pick up Laney?

I must be psychic.

Last spot will be hardest to guess. My crystal ball says "I see a waiver wire pickup in your future."

- And suddenly Ty Marshall is appearing on the Dream roster....

As Thibault would say, she's done nothing in the WNBA. In the Romanian league, the league that made Prahalis a rockstar, she did well.... putting her up there with the great Chucky Jeffery.

Similar to PHX, this move has the "sorry for tanking but at least we gave you a Georgia Tech player to cheer for" feel to it.

So, will the closure of I-85 have a large adverse impact on anyone else coming to Dream games this year? It may well suck for me, since I can no longer go 400/85 to get to the games. On nights when the Braves are in town, MARTA may be the only alternative.

Moving to Tech was likely to have an adverse affect on attendance, and this will only make it worse, I'm afraid.

I-85 will reopen on Monday

Marshall and Morris waived. That brings us down to 12.

Angel is unsigned, so suspension is not needed.

not suprised about Marshall thought Morris would make it looks like most of the same team from last year minus Angel

Her competition was Markeisha Gatling.
