Haha, yes well she can score in multiple ways instead of 0 ways, so definitely an upgrade in that department.
It remains to be seen whether she can become the smart & tough defender that Jenni was though.

Yilmaz and Sanders are teaching the Opals a lesson. I dont know what FLB did on that last posession. Joyce put Erin back in ffs

Liz is fired up Laughing

Looked like she was determined to foul someone one that previous play but for some reason the refs put their whistles away (for the first time all game)

Opals got lucky with this win. They need to find their shooting groove like they had against the USA

Watching the Opals defend the post sliding through after a screen was painful.

I barely even recognise our team from the one that played at MSG a little over a week ago.
Joyce's up-tempo game grins to a complete halt at the first sign of resistance. USA didn't bother resisting because they can beat us at any pace they choose, but Turkey very nearly took us down tonight.

I'd be curious to see their actual offensive sets, since it seems like they didn't run any this game lol. Surely it's not four on perimeter pounding it down to Liz inside or bust...

What an end to the France-Belarus game.
Video replay to decide if the buzzer-beater was in time and .... it's good

France steals it 73-72.

Yeah their offense to break this zone was not really that good. The overload on 1 side worked a couple of times but when your outside shot is off your screwed. You need more options and drives to the basket.

I like the critique on the USA's basketball game plan. I do not hear any of this on the sports shows. NICE JOB Michelle89 and miller40.

Very Happy Sorry, reading so much on the Olympics, I still like the critique. I think the Opals have a good team.

This was precisely the previous Chicago offense (before EDD). Pound it in to Fowles at all costs.

Difference is that the Opals do have some great shooters on the perimeter. But if Penny Erin etc. are not hitting their open shots then you have a problem

Canada's looked impressive. Much improved over their 2012 squad.

Watching the China vs. Senegal match. Chen Nan is easily handling the posts of Senegal. Granted it's against Senegal, but I've always wondered why Nan only played one season in the WNBA(2009 - Chicago).
