So there is an Olympic basketball channel, but Comcast isn't carrying it in my area.

1) I'm guessing the NBCSN broadcast will be one of those multi-sport things so they might just show some of the game. Or am I wrong?

2) Is the Olympic basketball channel available on line?

They're using at least NBC, NBCSN, and USA. I don't know if they're using MSNBC and CNBC.

If you have DirecTV, they have the Olympic Basketball Network on 205-2 and the Olympic Soccer Channel on 205-1.

I haven't looked for the whole schedule but they have the Turkey v France women's basketball game on the Basketball Channel at 11am Saturday. They're showing soccer game replays today on the Soccer Channel so I assume that replays of basketball games will similarly be available when no live games are on.

Does anyone have a live stream that works for people outside of the USA?

Doesnt work for me because it cant play the content in my region.

I don't think Comcast is carrying it anywhere, while both satellite providers and [ AT&T U-Verse, Verizon, Cox, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Suddenlink, Mediacom] are. The one cable company that owns NBC, is not showing the two NBC specialty channels created for the Olympics.

I think that all the coverage is available via live online streams, but it is not done in relation to a TV channel. Just by the time of the event.

That link may work to stream the basketball games. I haven't figured out how to use it with my cable system yet.

Dunno if you're on Twitter, but JohnyK mentioned on there recently that his access to the BBC's coverage over here still works. You could try DMing him to ask how that works.

Is Holland's Olympic coverage not particularly comprehensive?

I'm in Seattle and can watch live coverage on the CBC station in Vancouver, via Comcast cable.

That's the game I want to see, it's not coming on live here in NY. I have to watch it through my ROKU or Apple TV on the NBCSports app.

They're on the official Olympic site

https://www.rio2016.com/en/basketball

The formatting is weird, but everything is there

FIBA has their own Olympic basketball sites, with all the usual formatting and stuff:

Men: http://www.fiba.com/olympics/2016
Women: http://www.fiba.com/olympicswomen/2016
