Really liking the mic-ing of the coaches. And Rebecca's being analytical with some of these possessions which is awesome.

Will Stewie get outta this slump? Airballs, slow on drives, etc. I guess going nonstop since last November with the degree of difficulty increasing each month has got to be tiring!

Ok Seattle! Hmmm, but can they keep this up? What a great move for Minny to get Howard. She looks really good!

Swin Cash needs to find something different to do with her time because she is not good at being a halftime studio host. She says nothing and it's grating the way she says it.

Please ESPN, find someone else.

Lynx starting to run away with this one. Seattle bench is a non-factor.

In closing minutes third quarter, Jenny Boo takes Bird, Stewart, Langhorne, and Clarke off floor....Result: down 8 in blink...nice game management.

Same can be said first half when Cheryl took most of her starters out. I guess it evens out!

Borders is clueless about expanding the audience.

What a lot of blather about nothing.

So we don't count international players from the WNBA as Olympians? The more PC term would be USA BB members or Olympic Gold Medalists. There are 7 Olympians on the floor, 8 if Cruz was active.

Whalen showing the kind of determination I haven't seen in a while.

Well I'm certainly going to watch because everyone's bringing not just their A game but their A+ game.
Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Any surprise we get rubbish like "watch me work" and "terrific 20"?

I'm waiting for the "Giving 110%" ad campaign. Or maybe "it goes to eleven".

someone needed to tell Lisa Borders that ESPN hasn't been with the league since the beginning. NBC had the TV rights from 1997 - 2002.

Co-signed. Other countries *do* exist, the last I heard.

That might have been more palatable pablum if it had been at halftime, instead of taking up most of the fourth quarter, to the point where it looked like Borders was paying more attention to the game than Lobo was.

Borders just sounds like a politician.

But I did notice that there were Coke and Gerber ads during the Atlanta game. I don't remember seeing Coke before so I assume that was a result of her work...which is obviously good. (even if Coke is poison!)

Borders likes to throw out meaningless details like "didn't Bird have 5 threes last game" to make it look like she's some kind of super fan. It's her version of name dropping.

You're League president. We don't care if someone briefed you on trivial stats before you sat down for the interview. What we'd like to hear are some decent plans for growth.

Not in an in-game interview we don't. She's talking up the player on the floor. And she does pay attention to the games to the point where she was trying to talk up the product.
