I've decided to rework the previous poll to appease those who want to consider WNBA coaches. Took out five candidates who scored either zero or one vote in the previous poll. Included Hammon, and I expect some fighting over that.

120-day poll.

It would be more realistic to only list coaches with some prior USAB experience. Geno worked as an assistant prior to being named head coach. And IMO that's why most pro coaches don't participate. And also why many qualified college coaches don't get involved.

I don't believe Van Chancellor had any USA Basketball history before he was named the National Team Head Coach. So I don't think it's unrealistic for another person to be named National Team Head Coach without a USA Basketball History, of course that doesn't mean it will happen, and there could be people who have been asked and declined for their personal reasons, all of that is really unknown, they never announced others they considered or asked, they just announced the person named head coach.

Depends...if they just replace the whole existing committee anything could happen.

Current voting
Between 4 WNBA coaches: 18 votes
Between 8 NCAA coaches: 11 votes

These NCAA coaches are obviously overpaid! Wink
