Well, there goes EP. What I don't understand is the pick from the Mystics--SDS? I don't get it.

I know, I thought she was retired. I was just saying on Sunday that she retired too early, she could still play in this league and produce.

Maybe Washington's problems is with their janitor? Everyone wants to get away from him.

Seems to me that they're post weak. Neither Ngoyisa nor Robinson impress me, White is undersized, and Lovelace is a complementary player at best.

I thought they would take a flyer on Jen Smith just for that reason. Ngoyisa is the variable I guess. She showed some promise at times this year.

They could possibly sign Wendy Palmer.

I think Bernadette Ngoyisa will be a surprise if given some more playing time. I like the pick.

Woot. Not a bad draft by Chicago today....
Best Pick: Stacey Lovelace
Worst Pick: Keisha Brown
I agree Pilight, although I think Cowens experience could help in the improvement of Ngoiysa and Robinson, they are post weak. Im still hoping that Chicago goes out and signs Adrian Williams, Mfon Udoka and Shalonda Enis...

In my opinion,
best pick-powell-she has been a starting point guard on a WNBA championship team. she has had some off court issues, but if she keeps it together, she can provide veteran leadership
worst pick-both italians-will they even show up?

It's taken me this afternoon to absorb the list... hey, It's all good Cowens did a good job and we're not through yet. Looks like we'll have money to spend.
SDS?? Wow is all I can say.. but hey Stacey if you found your love again and you're ready to put all those naysayers in their place.. come on down!
Chelsea... gurrrrlll Chitown is gonna love you, and you are gonna love Chitown, we'll make you feel right att home, you won't miss Sac!
~Weee got De- anna, wee got De- anna!~~ Get ready for some real playing time!
Tooot, Toooot....D-Train ride on over, baby! I remember her vaguely her first year she got a little time.. she's scrappy and we are going to need scrappy!
I don't know much about Bernie, heck most references to Bernie, I didn't know who people were talking about. .. here's to the general consenus that she'll break out in a new system!
A-Rob same thing.. I think she needs some time out there on the floor, she'll do well. We'll take one of Pat's girls, for shore! Would have loved to have Gwen.
Elaine POW ell... hmm... just don't know. Let's hope she's had some Anger Management classes.
Good Job Dave!

Actually, the Italians might like Chicago more than you'd think. Chicago did one really good thing. They signed TWO Italians. Its a greater chance that they will come together, than if we signed only one. Also, Chicago is a very italian-based city. Im not sure if the Italian choices are so bad...
ChgoFan I love your energy!

It's awesome to see such enthusiastic Chicago fans already. I read that SDS really is planning to un-retire and play in Chicago.

The Sky really need a post player. A solid center actually since Wyckoff looks like she'll start at the 4.
I see the Sky's starting line-up like this:
PG: Powell
SG: Newton
SF: Macchi
PF: Wyckoff
C: TBA(draft pick? free agent?)
Reserves will be:
PG: Zara
SG: Perkins
SF: Lovelace, Dales-Schuman, Jackson(if all plan to return one will be traded)
PF: Ngoyisa(even though see's listed as a center, she'll likely play this position)
C: Robinson
WAIVED or IR: White & Brown

Powell doesn't provide offense, which is why Jia Perkins should start. Along with Deanna Jackson, those are likely the two best offensive players on the team.

Yeah, to start Powell and Newton could be scary. Since we got a weak post, we need to use the scoring guards we selected as much as opssible.
